Top-down aerial drone photo shot at nadir angle directly above the Roman baths and gymnasium complex at ancient Salamis, North Cyprus, revealing the full architectural floor plan of the site in precise overhead detail. The baths complex occupies the left half of the frame, showing a dense arrangement of interconnected stone chambers, circular plunge pools, rectangular cold and hot rooms, and arched passageways — all rendered in pale limestone against patches of yellow wildflowers and green grass. To the right, the gymnasium palaestra — a large open rectangular courtyard with colonnaded walkways along its perimeter — is fully legible, its layout virtually intact. A semi-circular exedra is visible at the far upper right corner.

This nadir perspective is exceptionally rare and of significant archaeological value, offering a blueprint-like clarity of the Salamis baths and gymnasium layout that cannot be replicated from the ground. The graphic quality of the overhead composition — geometric stone forms against vivid seasonal colour — gives this image strong visual impact for both scientific and commercial applications.
